What's the evangelism temperature in your church? Are the church members on fire for the Lord and sharing the great story of God's grace regularly with family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances? Are the baptismal waters in the church being stirred often? Or has the baptismal pool been dry for awhile?
Statistics across America reveal that baptisms in evangelical churches are on the decline. Oftentimes, the story of the gospel is not being told and Christians are finding it more difficult to engage people in gospel conversations. So what's the solution? How do we get more people engaged in presenting the gospel to those that are lost?
None of us have all the answers but I do know that there are pastors leading churches in getting the job done and seeing members engage lost people in gospel conversations and rejoicing that the unsaved are coming to Christ! And I'm pleased to inform you that some of those church leaders are coming to Ohio to share their evangelism passions, methods, and strategies with us!
Join me and my friend Joel Southerland, Executive Director of Evangelism at the North American Mission Board, and several SBC church leaders at the Engage 24 Evangelism Conference. You'll be encouraged by them, have dialogue with them, and be given valuable resources, insights, and ideas to assist you and your church members in reaching your community for Christ!
